Leigh Big Stitch Collage

Leigh calls this her "Big Stitch Collage" quilt.  She's carefully stitched down with large hand stitches the fabrics to a backing fabric, then added embellishments, a few of which are shown here.  I love how Leigh comes up with these great ideas, and then turns me loose to finish them.  This one was only stitched in the ditch as there was no way that my machine could go over most of the items. So my quilting was mostly something to hold all the layers together, no for decor.
Yes, that's a small stick with some dry moss on it.

Baby quilt for Mary Beth's newest grandson

A very simple quilt, the fabrics are a mountain scene as the family lives in Colorado.  Quilted with an edge to edge called "Backwoods" so moose and deer and a tent for camping.  Lots of fun things to look for on the back.

Portland Frog and 2025 BOM by Michael

As always, I think that Michael has about 15 projects going at any one time.  Here are the two most recent, and one more to follow that's not even unloaded from my machine.
Michael clearly thinks that my machine can quilt through anything, so in addition to these being paper pieced and multiple seams, there are some "unusual" fabrics.  Like lame.  However, my amazing APQS Lenni tackles them all without complaint.
This was a Block of the Month for 2025, with a block each month.  Each block is of course, paper pieced, and I think that the Bunny is my favorite.

And in honor of the Portland protestors, here's his Frog resister.
