"layer cake for a friend" by Gerry.

This is such a soft looking quilt.  Beautiful spring florals, and Gerry let me choose the quilting design and thread.  I chose a tulip design for quilting, in a soft lavender, that really doesn't show in photos.  I did try.  This will go to a friend of Gerry's, and I hope the friend treasures this.  How special.

"Harvest Blessings" by Leigh

Oh Leigh and her amazing hand applique and embroidery.  She amazes me.  This one has primarily SID around the appliques, but also a feather in the inner border, and some straight line quilting in the outer border to highlight Leigh's handiwork.

"Kelp Forest" wedding quilt by Zoe

First, let me say that this quilt is huge, and that this photo only shows 1/2 of it.  The colors travel from light to dark in the center and back to light on the opposite edge.  I had to ask Zoe how she had laid out such a large quilt, who has a design wall that big?  Good ideas from her to do sections, and photograph them.

The name "Kelp Forest" comes from the idea that Zoe had in her mind while constructing this.  That helped to determine the quilting design as well.  Stunning!

Guatamala table cloth/quilt for Pat

Pat's son traveled to Guatemala many years ago and brought Pat back this lovely table cloth.  She used it, as one should, and of course, someone spilled something on it.  Rather than risk further stains that won't come out, Pat had me quilt it with the "Monstera" pattern.  Perfect for this, just large tropical leaves.  I love the embroidery, probably done by hand.  Amazing.

Chandelier and twin bargellos by Sue

As I was quilting this quilt, several people came to pick up or drop off and it seemed that everyone commented on what a lovely quilt this is.    I absolutely agree, and it took me some time to realize that it is simply a 9 patch variation on point.  Clearly, something to add to my list of "to do" quilts.
Love the "Deco Clam Glam" quilting design.

These really are two different quilts.  Sue started to make one large bargello quilt and eventually decided she didn't care for it.  So, but it in half, or don't put the two halves together, and now you've got two!  I believe these are for twin girls.

Baby quilt for Ellen's newest nephew

What a sweet quilt for this baby who should be born by the time I'm finally getting these uploaded.  Quilted with "Oriental Cloud" panto

Flying Tigers and Rainbow Tiger by Michael

Here are two from Michael.  He said that he was pattern testing them, and I think they turned out great!
The Two Flying Tigers is done on a flannel backed satin.  I was a bit concerned initially about how the fabric would respond, but it worked beautifully.  The Asian character is the Chinese symbol for Tiger, and Michael was born in a year of the Tiger.
This one is "Rainbow Tiger" for obvious reasons.  Great fun.

New baby quilt by Jillian and family

There is a new baby in Jillian's family, and of course she needs a quilt!  This one was pieced by several family members who wished to contribute a block or two.

Eye Spy #3 by Anna

Here is Anna's Eye Spy #3  Very similar in color placement to the first 2, and she chose the "campout" quilting design.

But now I can see more animals!  Here is a rabbit being stalked by a fox, or coyote

And a bear waiting for lunch.  Such fun!

First quilt by Diana

Diana lives in my neighborhood, and this is her first quilt to complete.  I have to say, if this is her first quilt, she's going to go a long, long way.  Look at those perfectly matched points!
Love the little camper trailers in the print.  This quilt will go to her parents.

"Asian Fans" by Sue

What a lovely quilt, although the red border reads as more orange in the photo.  The piecing makes such a pretty lattice design across the quilt.

"Batiks for husband" by Kathy

.  It feels calm to me, and is designed to be used as a throw on the couch.  Quilted with Tea Leaves panto

Hand pieced by Elaine for her stepson

Quilted with the "Woof" design to go with the dogs in the family.

"Here and There" by Pat

I think that this quilt pattern is out of the comfort zone of Pat and I, but she made it at the request of her financial adviser, and this is their style.
Quilted with rulers to make straight lines on the tops and bottom at 1" spacing, and to echo the piecing in the middle.  The print sections are quilted with a narrow channel on each side.

Two house quilts by Kathy

Kathy has mde the same quilt pattern twice, but changed her color scheme from winter to spring  Top one, done in blues with winter trees is quilted with a snowflake design.  Spring with his flowers on the tree branches has "Happy Cloud"

For the family of the late Officer Sahota

Quilted with "shooting stars" design and Military Gold thread.

I heard a brief mention on the news that he had coached soccer for his children, so the soccer fabric was included.

Thanya's 2nd daughter's t-shirts

Another daughter off to college for Thanya and her husband.  This one will attend WOU.

I love how worn and "loved" this shirt is.  Clearly a favorite.
