Stars and Stripes for Kelli's mom in law

Shh. This may be a gift, so no telling.  This lovely one is made by Kelli for her mom in law.  Not a fan of orange myself, but it really works in this quilt.  I love the background checkerboard design of the stripes as well.
Quilted with the design "Adena", so flowers and swirls.  Very pretty..

"BOM" by Kelli

A block of the month pattern by Kelli.   Of course, she told me where it came from, and I promptly forgot.  Sorry!  Regardless, she's done a lovely job on piecing it.  Wish I'd thought to get a close up as well.

"Navy" by Kelli

This one is for Kelli's husband, and we thank him for his service.
The fabric above is made by Spoonflower, and while a neat design of the ship from the British Navy "King George the 5th", the fabric isn't the greatest.  This is the opinion of everyone who touched it, including Kelli,  Not just my thought.
Pieced at the bottom of the quilt is the battleship "Oregon".  Well done Kelli!

"Penguins" by Kelli

Another Elizabeth Hartman pattern by Kelli, and aren't they adorable?!
Quilted with an block design turned into an edge to edge.  So, I would press "Sew" on Lenni, turn to Pearly and quilt free handed for a few minutes, then back to press the "Next" button on Lenni and repeat.  It works so well though!

"Whales" by Kelli

Are these fun?  Kelli's son saw a sampler at the now defunct Fabric Depot" and "suggested" that she make him the quilt.
Although the designer, Elizabeth Hartman makes her patterns to look s though they are paper pieced, they are all just straight pieced.  I have a pattern that I'll be making "any day now" of hers.
