"Holiday" quilt from Jennie

Jennie wins the prize for most organized for this year.  This lovely festive winter holiday quilt was dropped off in Jan. 2023, and is now all set for next Christmas!

Great design, something I'll probably need to copy for my own use.  Quilted with Holly and Swirls panto in shiny gold thread.  Perfect!

"Robin's Quilt" by Xande

I had saved these with the correct orientation and now they are still sideways (Stupid computer).  Here is "Robin's Quilt" a new-ish relative of Xande's  The background that makes up the mountain for the robin to stand on is all different books.  How appropriate!  All paper pieced because that's what Xande loves to do

"My Flock Rocks!" by Beth

Our cycling group refers to ourselves as "The flock" as we tend to wear a lot of flamingo tights.  (Long story...)  I used to have a sticker on my bike helmet that read "My Flock Rocks", but I had to replace my helmet, so no longer have the sticker.  That was the inspiration for the name.

This quilt pattern is from Debi Montgomery's Mystery Quilts Anonymous.  This was her "Tea Party" mystery that was released on New Year's 2023.  I make it with a plan to offer it for sale at the Sister's Outdoor Quilt show this summer.

Since I kept seeing diamond shapes, I had to quilt a diamond facet there.  So much fun to play!

"Chocolate Bunnies" by Pam

Please keep your fingers crossed that Pam decides she doesn't want this quilt back.  I've got two friends who would LOVE to have it!  (heck, so would I, and I don't love bunnies like they do)
Based on the label on the back, at least started near Easter 2021.  I received it in 2023, and now she will have it back in time to finish for Easter 2023.
All hand appliqued, and button and bead embellishments as well as embroidery for eyes.  Stunning!

A piano key in the outer border, and a feather design in the swag border.

Took me forever to figure out that the two bunnies on the right side above are on a teeter totter!
Eggs in his wagon.
All the time I'm quilting this quilt, I have been wanting to eat chocolate Easter bunnies.  Not usually a fan, but I may just have to get myself one this year.

"Aiden's quilt" by Kathy

I hope I'm spelling Aiden correctly.  He is a delightful about 7yo who has a wonderful grandmother who made him this great quilt!  Animals for the focus fabric, same yellow batik for star points, and then lots of other batiks for the background.
Impossible to see, but quilting with "Owl Always Love You" design.

"Fab Farm" by Michael

I really think that Michael must have a time machine.  How else does he get all these quilt tops made?  Sure, he says he doesn't so that much, but maybe he doesn't sleep much either.
Another stunning design from Elizabeth Hartman.  Having grown up on a farm, with all of these animals (except the pigs), this makes me smile.

"Patriotic Flannels" by Masha

I think this block is a variation on a Jacob's Ladder block.  Or at least, that's what my quick research came up with/.

Mary Beth's "Special Quilt"

This one is "special" because she made it for herself!  First one for her I believe.  Lovely wools mixed with some cottons.

A donation quilt from Mary Beth

Mary Beth dove into her scraps and came up with this fun design.  All linen fabrics.  She will donate this to the Franciscan Center.
Quilted with Double Diamond Cat design, and those kitties look a little chunky in the behind.   Better watch my measurements in the future.

Green Strings by Betty

Another fun scrappy quilt and a great way to use up leftovers.  All pretty batiks (except the white)  Makes me think of springtime.

2 more from Sue

This one I am simply calling Large Flowers  Also a computerized e2e design

3 from Lindsay

Lindsay is a "new to me" customer, referred by Elaine.  She is a delightful lady, and we had a nice visit talking about these quilts.  The first one here is on that she started to hand quilt for her daughter.  Based on the artwork, it was in celebration of her daughter's 16th birthday, and her friends were hopeful that she'd get a car.    Nearly all the blocks have some representation or mention of a car.  The most "historical" one for me is the one at the top right of the page.  Drawing of a fish, but with an oversized fin in the foredground.  Seems that the girls were eating pizza and had been sworn to not spill on the quilt.  Of course, that's what happened, so the "fin" is actually a stain from pizza.  A part of the quilt's history.
Lindsay got everything but the outer border quilted, all by hand, and asked me to just finish that and make a binding for her to finish off.

This is a small table topper quilt.  You don't realize how small it is until you see the lower photo with a bit of my thumb holding the binding open.  Quilted with crosshatching through those little blocks, and then feathers in the outer border.
