Baby quilt for Mary Beth's newest grandson

 A very simple quilt, the fabrics are a mountain scene as the family lives in Colorado.  Quilted with an edge to edge called "Backwoods" so moose and deer and a tent for camping.  Lots of fun things to look for on the back.

Two Hobbit quilts by Mary Beth

Here are two different quilts for the same family.  One will be for the entire family to use, and the other is for Jane.  Sadly, I've forgotten which is which!  Since the theme of both quilts are Dragons, one is quilted with the Lorien's Dragon panto, and another is finished with "Castles in the mist"

"T-shirts" by Mary Beth

This is a memory quilt for a friend of Mary Beth's who's husband has passed.  So this needed to be done as quickly as possible.

 I love how she incorporated the zipper into the quilt.

"Emma's Sunflower quilt" by Mary Beth

 This quilt has been patiently waiting it's turn for quilting.  I was loading it up, and realized that it was too large to put on my computerized machine!  Oh no!  So, reach out to Mary Beth to choose a different design, then wait until the current quilt was finished on the larger machine. 

All made from probably fabrics from Liberty of London, so very soft to the touch, and the wool batting inside will make it warm and cozy.

Mary Beth made this quilt for her friend, and they both looked for quilting designs, but quickly became overwhelmed.   I suggested this one "Lotus Peel" that was a combo of their two top choices.  It was a hit!

This one is called "Farm"., and it's not complete.  Mary Beth plans to applique a barn to the quilt that will be dimensional and can be played with.  Hence I've only quilted the background.  That is done with a panto of farm animals including a horse, cow, pig, chicken and a squirrel?  I grew up on a farm, and we didn't have squirrels.  Why not a dog?  Questions for the designer.

Also "Unicorns and Owls" for her grand-daughter Olivia.  She reportedly refers to herself as ""Owlivia." So this is too perfect.

Quilted with a digital design of unicorns, but difficult to see on the busy print.

 

"Cheetah quilt" by Mary Beth

When you are specifically asked for a "Cheetah quilt", you seemingly go shopping for all the cheetah print fabrics you can find.

Even the backing, which was a rayon, so very drapey, but still worked great. 

Mary Beth usually has several options for quilting designs, but this time told me "Surprise me" with something "tropical".  I went with the Tea Tree panto, and it only shows on the black.  She usually let's me choose the thread color, but this time found a gold thread that she wanted.  Nice to shake things up.

Another amazing quilt from Mary Beth.  So simple, yet so wonderfully graphic.

Mary Beth also shared that this amazing woman is going to nursing school full time, so thank you to a future RN.
 

2 T-shirt quilts by Mary Beth for a friend,

Mary Beth made these two quilt tops out of shirts from her friend's late husband's collection.  Clearly, he was a Blazer fan.

 She also chose Blazer themed fleece for the backing, so they are extra cuddly.

Being "a purple girl", I love this quilt.  Great quilting design that she chose as well, it just looks restful. Perfect for the recipient!

 

6th one (of this batch) from Mary Beth

Mary Beth didn't quite have this top finished when she dropped off the first 5, so this came later.  Leftover fabrics from the first ones, and made into a darling rail fence. Great Star panto for quilting. Can't wait to use this again.

There are 2 new babies coming into Mary Beth's life, and they are going to have more quilts than they know what to do with! 

This is Mountains for Zeke.  Quilted with a mountain motif in each block.

Kiernan gets "Ocean" above and below.  Love the Interstellar quilting design she chose for this one.

This is called "Pink Whales and is also for Kiernan  I love the Celtic knot design.And finally for Kiernan, "Birds and Fish"  Hard to see the Wax On" panto, but it's really cool.

One more for Zeke, he gets the "Baby Animals" complete with chicken wire quilting design.  Too perfect!

The most recent Horse quilt from Mary Beth

Two horse quilts completed and both used the same "Horse Profile" quilting design.  Although it shows better on this quilt.  Not what Mary Beth wanted to make, but what the recipients wanted.

 

"Horse #1" and "Window Cats" by Mary Beth

this is "Horse #1, because there is a 2nd similar horse quilt on it's way.  It will be quilted with the same "Horse profile" design as below.  This is not a design that Mary Beth would have made, but "It's what they wanted" for the recipients.

This fabric is actually black, but came out this color only in the photo.  Trying to show the outline of the horse profile.

"Window Cats" is the name of the quilting design, and it seemed an appropriate quilt name as well.  5 different cat fabrics and quilted with this darling design

 

2 from Mary Beth

This is for Mary Beth's granddaughter, her "big girl" quilt.  Lots of soft colors and even softer feeling fabrics.  The backing is solid lavender/mauve linen, and quilted with  Pearls and Swirls design

These wonderful focus fabrics are from Turkey, brought to Mary Beth by a friend.  How lucky is she?  Background is Mary Beth's favorite type of fabric, a lovely linen.  Another stunner.
