And 2 from Sharyle

Why don't I think of things like this?  Take a set of panel blocks, add star points and a quick and fun quilt for a little kiddo.  (I think this is for her grand-daughter).

Another panel set, this time finished as Attic Window blocks.  Birds in a winter scene so quilted with the "Cardinals" digital design.

Two from Avis

Isn't this such a fun quilt?  They are taffy candies like you'd get at the coast.  Since it was candy blocks, I suggested quilting it with the Chocolate Kisses on a line design  If you look really closely, you can see the Hershey kisses design.

And, Blue Squares"  Such a lovely spring time quilt, quilted with pale green thread and the Asti panto

"Meander" by Mary Beth for her son

As usual, my photography skills do not do justice to the quilt.  All done in deep navy blue and reds.  Also make entirely with wool quilt, including the batting and binding.  This is going to be one HOT quilt!

The backing is a deep red with a wonderful nubby texture to it.  As always, Mary Beth does glorious work.

"Patriotic" by Marlene

This is another huge quilt, so only half gets to show.  A lovely "Trip Around the World" design with a center star.  All done in red, whites and blues.  Marlene changes her bed quilts out with the seasons, so this one will go on her bed after Memorial day.
Feather meander over the entire quilt, except for the center square which gave me a fun place to play.

"X marks the spot"

Another mystery quilt for a fallen officer..  Quilted with "Stars and Stripes" panto in his honor.

"Cat's in Space", "Quilt Biography #2", and "Victory Quilt" all by Michael

Yes, Michael, the most prolific piecer I know, has been at it again.  Here is another darling pattern by Elizabeth Hartman.  Quilted with a star panto and glow in the dark thread, and I believe that the background fabric stars glow as well.  So cute!

"Quilt Biography #2"  I love this idea!  We've all got those strings of fabric that are too large to toss, but not big enough to do anything with.  What a great idea to make a courthouse step block, and use a consistent center square.   Clearly something that needs to be my next string quilt pattern.

Michael had asked me to use the same yellow fabric that he had used for the background, as backing, but I didn't have enough of it.  So, I used some of my hand dyed fabric with white stars  for the backing.  I love this stuff!

And finally, "Victory Quilt" an Eleanor Burns pattern.  Quilted with "Stars and Stripes" panto in "Freedom" variegated thread.

"Dad's Harley Davidson shirts" for Kelsey

Clearly dad was a Harley Fan.  There is also nothing quite so satisfying as hearing your customer quietly say "It's perfect.  It's perfect" when they see their quilt.
Since my longarm machines are "born" in Iowa, of course I had to choose this one!
