"Hit and Miss" by Lance's grandmother

This is a quilt with a history.  Lance's grandmother pieced it in 1987, and then lovingly hand embroidered her name, the date and name of the quilt in the bottom corner.  Then in 2008, Lance and a friend went to the now defunct Fabric Depot to purchase the backing and binding fabrics.   The receipt was in the bag when he dropped it off.

It is made up of handkerchief paisley fabrics in red and blue, and quilted with a Woodgrain design.  This will be used in Lance's travel camper.  I love the history of the quilt, and that it will now be used to make new memories for Lance.
