"Feathers and Bars" by Mary Beth

Another lovely creation
by Mary Beth.  This quilt has a variety of feather prints in it, and it is quilted with the "Buzz Saw" pattern.

"Camping in the Backwoods" by Mary Beth

The title of this quilt is my own, based on
the names of the quilting designs used in it.  I used 2 different patterns, each consisting of 4 different rows.  All wildlife, or camping themed.  This quilt is for Mary Beth's grandson.

"Halloween Cat" from a panel by Michael

Michael wins the creativity prize for this quilt.  Start with a panel of cat prints, then cut them out and applique them to various pumpkin shapes.  Love it!

Quilted with orange thread in both top and bobbin, and the design is called "Twinkling Pumpkins."

"Blue Heaven" by Michael

Wow.  I just got an email from Michael reminding me that I have been quilting his quilts for 10 years.  Lucky me!

This is his latest creation, a pattern he is testing.  I love all the different blue fabrics that all blend so well.  The quilting design i called "Primitive Sky."  Perfect on this quilt.

"Fire and Ice" by me

This is a quilt that may
have started me a on a long term new hobby, fabric dying.  My dear neighbor Andie, showed me some things she had dyed, and my first thought was a quilt that was called "Fire and Ice" and used colors of fire and ice.
The quilt is made up of 2 fabrics only.  All the same fabric in the top, and a solid black backing.  The top fabrics were initially a white tone on tone print, and I used that "right side up" in the red fabrics.  The blue and yellow were planned with the print side down so you see much less of it.  I've already got a bolt of more white fabric, ready to keep doing this.  I'm so excited!

Donated quilts the need to be adopted and a vintage blouse

I recently received an email from Janet, asking if I took donations.  She told me that she had some fabrics and sewing supplies from her "granny" and asked if I would like them.  Never one to turn down fabric, I of course agreed!  I never got to meet her in person, but she left a bag of items on her porch.  Who could know what treasures it would hold!  Above is a close up the narrow band of the Cathedral Window quilt that is in the process of being finished.  My (current) plan, is to finish that segment, and hopefully figure out how to join it to the rest.
After that, I may take on making more of these blocks as I have a bag full of the background fabrics that have been started.  Provided I can find something on You Tube to help me learn to do this. This is what appears to be a silk crazy quilt.  Hand embroidered stitching on the seams as you may be able to see below.

Also, a fully pieced SunBonnet Sue quilt top.  That I know that I will
 finish and donate somewhere.

Finally a vintage sailor collar blouse.  If I were this tiny, I'd wear this!
My question is to anyone who reads this, would you like to adopt any of these quilts or the blouse?  I hate to have them just disappear, so I'm offering them up to anyone who would like them.  If you are from out of the area, I'd be happy to mail them, you just need to pay for shipping.

Please reach out to me if you'd like to take any of these home.

Thanks!

"Double Chevron" by Carol

Carol is a new to me customer, and she is delightful to work with.  This quilt from batiks will go to her son and daughter in law.   Lots of leaves in the design to go with the fall colors, and then something simple to hold down the background.

"Anne of Green Gables" by Gerry

I think that this was probably a layer cake design, but I'm not positive.  Lots of scenes and words from the Anne of Green Gables series.

Shirts for Jasmine's husband

I've never met Jasmine, she lives in Eugene.  She mailed me the shirts from her husband's runs and then I got to assemble them into a quilt.  I love the cow shirt!
