This is a quilt that may have started me a on a long term new hobby, fabric dying. My dear neighbor Andie, showed me some things she had dyed, and my first thought was a quilt that was called "Fire and Ice" and used colors of fire and ice.
The quilt is made up of 2 fabrics only. All the same fabric in the top, and a solid black backing. The top fabrics were initially a white tone on tone print, and I used that "right side up" in the red fabrics. The blue and yellow were planned with the print side down so you see much less of it. I've already got a bolt of more white fabric, ready to keep doing this. I'm so excited!
