"Anne of Green Gables" by Diana

Diana made this quilt for her sister and wants to take it to her for hand delivery.  Love the soft colors and the hearts quilting design.

"Kittens in Mittens" also finished!

Quilted and bound and ready for the Sisters Outdoor quilt show.
Also designed by Wendy Shepherd and found in a magazine.  Quilted with a computerized design called "Snowplace Like Home".

"Library Cats" are finished!

I found this pattern and another by Wendy Sheppherd in a magazine and knew I had to make it.  She had left 2 open spaces on the shelves, I decided to fill those spaces with books standing upright with bookends on either side.

Can't believe I had enough of both black and grey snowflake material to make all the cats, but there is one orange one to represent my strange cat "Rumples".  Quilted with what else, but a design of open books!

"Silent Night" by Kristin

This is the 2nd quilt of Kristin's that I've helped with and I really hope this is the beginning of a long term relationship.  Beautifully pieced and appliqued by machine.  All pieces stitched down with metallic thread (which can't be pleasant to work with).  My job was to add dimension, and to add some background fills to the larger areas.  Namely the black sky, and the cream areas.  Then I SID around many of the pieces to add dimension with matching threads  So very pretty!

"Jungle Animals on Green" by Susan

I'm sure I've stated before how I love Susan's creative piecing.  I tend to just cut things down to consistent sizes, and then use them that way.  Clearly Susan uses her math skills to figure out her quilts designs, and they are all so much fun!
