"Mr. Soft Ears"

My dear friend Anne has a neice who is expecting twin girls.  One will get "Mr. Soft Ears", the nickname of Anne's dog Talon.  He's a yellow lab, golden retrieve mix.  Also a guide dog career change dog.    I haven't yet quilted the next one, but soon.

Here I was playing and trying out some new ruler work in the border, and showing the back of the quilt.
