Lone Star pieced by Nancy's mother

I'm going to have to talk with Nancy.  She told me that her mother pieced this quilt top for her some time ago, but she also had a "stash" of fabric to choose the binding from.  So Nancy, are you a quilter too?  Nosy people named Beth want to know.

I  think my love of Lone Star quilts comes from my late Grandmother Esther.  She was the quilter and my mother has a lone star quilt that she made for my parents  A little worn after all these years ,but still stnning
