"Patriotic Flannels" by Masha

I think this block is a variation on a Jacob's Ladder block.  Or at least, that's what my quick research came up with/.

Quilted with Baptist Fans in cream thread, but it barely shows on the flannels (Front and backing)

Notice the creative piecing in the borders and corners?  What happens when you run out of fabric.  Well done.
