"Home" by Leigh

Every time I have a quilt from Leigh loaded and a customer comes to pick up or drop off, they always comment on these.   I continue to tell others that many of us think Leigh is touched in the head for her desire to do so much hand applique and embroidery, but whatever it is that you love, do more of it!

I quilted this with lots of little pebbles in the background and SID around the appliques.  Another stunner.

  This block reminded me of the "Shoes on the Danube" memorial in Budapest that we were able to visit in Sept. 2022.  I kept thinking of the people who were killed after removing their shoes on the banks of such a beautiful city.

I pray that the world will never see such violence again.
