"Drunkard's Path blocks by Erin

The individual concave and convex curves  are traditionally known as a Drunkard's Path Block.  I LOVE how Erin has placed these to make lovely flowers.  Especially the one orange leaf at the bottom right.  By the way, curved piecing is extra time consuming from straight lines, so be REALLY impressed with Erin

Quilted with the Happy Cloud design and the background is really a lovely deep purple, not fuscia as it shows here.

Crazy pieced by Leigh

Leigh and her amazing embroidery and hand appliques just astound me.  All of the applique blocks were SID, then the crazy pieced all got a modification of a Greek Key design.  Outer border is pebbled after having been SID around the applique. As always with Leigh's quilt, I start with a thought of "What the heck am I going to do?"  Followed by a few trials and errors, and then I find the perfect design and just run with it!  So much fun!

Photo dump of Donna's collection.

I love scrappy quilts, so here's a fun churn dash quilt.

This one is an Eye Sp[y quilt, because the background is made up of different animals.
Dogs

Half square triangles.  I had to ask Donna if she had cut and pieced these, or where they leftovers that she had sorted out.  These are leftovers from other projects, and finish at about 2.5".  Very fun!

"Whole Cloth" by me

I love to handquilt, and Leigh and Michael think that I'm nuts.  (it's okay, they love things that I hate, so we're even).  This was a pre-printed panel, and I wish I had paid attention to when I started it.  Feels like I worked on it for years, even though it's only crib sized.  Fun and soothing to work on, but not a summer time project with wool batting in the middle.  Will raffle this off for the police and hopefully raise some money for Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS)

"Double Wedding Ring" by Christina

This quilt is too large to get the entire quilt to show, but you get enough showing to see how beautiful Christina has made this.  A wedding gift for her friends.  Wow.  Must be very special friends!

I love the blues on the grey, what wonderful contrast.  Wishing the happy couple many years together and hopefully more quilts from Christina.

"For daughter"

I love my cryptic notes sometimes.  This quilt is simply called "For daughter".  I seem to recall that it may be to celebrate her wedding, but will need Donna to confirm that.  I love how the crosses are scattered across the quilt top.

This is a portion of the backing to show the "Avocado" design that she chose for quilting.

"Rail Fence by Diana

How kind of Donna to make this lovely quilt for her friend who is going through a very difficult medical issue.  Best of all, she had much of the fabric in her stash and ready to go!  The only fabric purchase for this quilt was a batik jelly roll to make the fence rails.  Everything else was in her stash and ready to go.
Quilted with a design called "Ginger Flower", sort of looks like the daisies in the borders of the quilt top.

 Wishing her friend good health.
