"Patriotic" by Marlene

This is another huge quilt, so only half gets to show.  A lovely "Trip Around the World" design with a center star.  All done in red, whites and blues.  Marlene changes her bed quilts out with the seasons, so this one will go on her bed after Memorial day.
Feather meander over the entire quilt, except for the center square which gave me a fun place to play.

"Fernwhe" by Sean

Sean is a new to me quilter.  I don't think that he's been quilting long, but this is the first quilt that I've quilted for him.   I'm looking forward to a long relationship with him.

Dresden Plate/Irish Chain by Pat

Here is another stunning quilt for a niece in Texas.  Pat's directions on the check in sheet say "Make it pretty.", so I hope we've done that.

Continuous curves in the chain blocks, lots of feathers that grow up from the bottom of the quilt along the chains and plates.

I love the continuous curves in the plates!  Curved crosshatching in the centers of the plates

And a large loopy feather on the borders to frame it all.

"End of Year Snowflake" by Jennie

I'm not sure where the "end of year" part comes from, but that's what I've got listed, so that's the name of this quilt.  I love it!
Quilted with Flurries panto, and white thread, on red fabric, even if does look orange in the bottom photo.

"Checkerboard Square" by me.

"Mystery Quilts Anonymous" on Facebook.  Since it's a mystery, you only get fabric requirements.  I decided that checker boards are black and red, so that's my color choice.  Scrappy as always, because that's my style.  Now I just need to find a police officer to give it too.

"Knitted Star" by Julie.

Oh my, what a gorgeous pattern!  I'm a knitter as well, and have made numerous wool sweaters using this same snowflake design on them.  I've never seen a quilt pattern like this, and I just love it!  In addition, Julie's bias edges were a delight to work with.  I imagine that my bias edges in this place would be terribly "friendly" and waving, but hers are flat.  Well done.

The quilting design is "Caduceus" with several medical implements quilted in it.  There is a stethoscope, the "staff of Hermes" (traditional symbol for a doctor), a syringe, bandaid and even an EKG readout, or QRS wave.  (About the only thing I remember from anatomy class).

Cathedral Window by Quinn

Oh my, this quilt is a stunner.  What makes it even more amazing is that this is Quinn's second quilt.  Wow.  He's going to go places.

When I think Cathedral Window, I think of small blocks of folded fabric, so this was a new twist for me.  There are a couple of parts where he had to topstitch down curves, and it is impeccable. (Wish mine was that good)

"Goodnight Irene" by Sue

Here's another stunner by Sue.  I love the soft colors that she chose for the blocks.

These two are just trying to show the hydrangea quilting design.

Log Cabin and Cornerstones by Sue

I really have no idea what the actual title of this pattern is, but it's another that you don't realize how lovely it is until you hang it up for photos.    Obviously the colors up top are much more accurate than below, but below shows the new feather and swirl quilting design.  So very pretty.

Embroidered blocks by Vickie

This quilt has been sitting in my studio for a long time waiting for it's turn for quilting, and I hope that Vickie thinks it was worth the wait.  She hand embroidered the blocks.  That alone astounds me.  Quilted with an edge to edge design of star meander, with a little swoop in the "star blocks"

Two from Stephanie

This is the second time Stephanie has used this quilt pattern, only in grey and yellow this time.  So pretty.
The quilting design on this quilt is called "Retro Wavy Dots"  Wow.  It was fun to watch my Lenni machine stitch this out and how perfectly "he" can backtrack stitching.
This quilt is called the "Ocean Quilt" or "The Horse Quilt" by Stephanie due to what was going on her life when she was working on it.
Quilted with oh so pale green thread and a design called "Seashells".

"Shattered" by Jennie

This is Jennie's second ever quilt.  Pretty amazing, I think.  The name of the pattern is "Shattered", but she has yet to decide what she will call it.

Jennie wanted something circular to offset the sharp points of the piecing.  Good call!  So quilting with an edge to edge "spiral" design and white thread.  If this is what she does for her second quilt, I think that Jennie is going places quickly.

"Purple for niece" by Pat

Another quilt for one of Pat's lucky niece's.  This one in shades of purple.  Quilted with a digital design called "Antwerp", so some pretty tulips and swirls.

"Toni's quilt" by Carol

I swear I fixed this photo so that it was oriented correctly.  Isn't this quilt lovely?  Darling husband Randall even stated "That blue and white one is pretty."

Toni is a friend of Carol's, and lucky lady to get such a gorgeous quilt made for her.

"Blue for Niece" by Pat

Here's the 2nd one for Pat's niece.

Sorry, can't recall the name of the design on Lenni, but it is very pretty!

"pink for neice" by Pat

Here's the first of 2 quilts for Pat's nieces who are going to be moving to a new home.  So of course you need new quilts!
Quilted with "Heart Links" on Lenni

My "Wholecloth"

I had planned on taking a photo of the entire quilt top before I loaded it, but was half done when I remembered that plan.  So, here's a photo above, of 1/2 of the quilt.  I started with marking 4 hearts in the center, then some borders, and a design for the corners.  The ones below are what I ended up with.

One requirement was that we have feathers in our quilt.
Here's a full quilt shot, but hard to see.

I had about a 3" border that needed "something" between the rows of feathers, so that's where the back and forth lines come from.
My cornerstone blocks were inspired by a design I saw on a building when I was coming out of work.  Quite pleased that all of the blue disappearing ink really did disappear!

"Round About Stars" by Sandy

Isn't this pretty!  Sandy is a first time customer for me, but I hope that we'll get to work together again.  She sent me a photo of how the original quilt was quilted, and I took those ideas and then went slightly differently. This resulted in trying out several different ideas, and I'm thrilled with how it all turned out.
