"Mickey and Minnie go to Paris" by Michael
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are the focus fabrics, and Michael had the rest of the fabrics (except the background) in his stash. Well done!
"La Petite Baguette" by me
So many of my friends and relations are having grand-babies this year! This one is completed first, even though the baby is not to arrive until August because "grand-mere to be" will be traveling to Paris (where the baby will live) in April. My friend Xande didn't think she'd ever have grandkids, so to hear that her daughter was expecting was a wonderful surprise. Never having met the parents, I only know that they like blue and orange, and Paris. I found a pattern in a a magazine that I enjoyed, and here it is. Since Xande is my "biking buddy", I looked through my collection of bike fabrics and that's where most of these came from.
The baby's "in utero" name is "La Petite Baguette", so that's where the name of the quilt comes from.
Medallion quilt for Pat
It seems that Pat went into an antique store somewhere, and found this quilt top priced at $20. Where are these things when I'm in antique stores?!
Pat brought it to me and basically told me to have fun and play with it. We both agreed that wool batting would be best, giving it loft to show off the quilting, but also for warmth as it's future home will be as a throw on their sofa. It's just the right size to pull over you on a cold, wet Oregon day.
These are in no particular order, but the solid white photos are of the backing to show the quilting. With that amazing medallion in the center, that needed to be highlighted, so SID around the rays, and background fill behind.
Pebbling around the "X" blocks and nothing in the X's to allow those to pop. Looks unquilted on the back, but I love how it turned out!
The beige backgrounds have a feather wreath going around, and the white has 3 plumes in each corner.
Just straight wavy lines in the long borders.
The X blocks with the pebbling behind.
Squares by Carla
I've now done several quilts for Carla, and she has always chosen the same ginkgo leaves pantograph for quilting. It always works on her quilts too. A simple design for piecing, but I love how it turned out.
Trains by Avis
Let the Christmas quilts begin! This one will be a gift for a relative, guess what his hobby is?
Got a new panto called "Trains" that you can almost see below. Not sure how often it will get used, but it couldn't be better for this quilt.

quilted yardage by Michael
Okay, these I'm sure are ones that he's going to use for bags. He brought several prints and then chose appropriate quilting designs for each one. The top are little cat foot prints, so Kitty Kat panto was perfect.
Finally, a panel of lovely flowers, quilted with the Star Flower panto. These were all a new challenge for me. Since Michael will use these for bags, none have backing fabrics. So, load the cotton batting as though it was the backing, and then the quilt top. Only 2 layers to this "sandwich".
Having grown up with "idiot birds", aka "Peacocks", I still think they are pretty, but don't get the attraction for them. At least it was only the feathers, not the screaming birds at 5am.

Several from Michael
Michael brought in quite a collection of goodies. First, take a decorative tea towel and add borders. Since it's the song "Jingle Bells", it's quilted with music notes.
This one is a towel from Ohio to go to a friend who lives there. Did you know that several presidents are from Ohio? I didn't. Completed with Ohio stars in the corners.
And since I didn't turn the photos, on the left is half a tree skirt for Christmas. I think that Michael is going to use this as quilted yardage in bags and such. Quite pretty, I think.
Quilted with the "Christmas Paisley" panto. They are all 3 quilted with the same backing, so I loaded the backing , and then used scraps of batting for each one.

"Fiftyfour Fourty" by Ann with help from family.
This is a wedding quilt for Ann's son and his new bride. The family tradition is that many people get together and piece the blocks for the happy couple. So, lots of people stitched a lot of love into this quilt for them.
Quilted with the Ginkgo Garden panto, so ginkgo leaves and dragonflies scattered across the quilt. Wishing the happy couple much happiness and love.

Jack in the Box by me
This is another of the FB longarm mystery quilt tops. Then I needed a class sample for a longarm class I'm taking. I REALLY need to learn to read all instructions for the class. I was supposed to hand bind this, but I'm going to submit it anyway. Fingers crossed I pass on this one!
The quilt was supposed to use a large focal print, and so that's the colored squares in the middle of the large blocks. Then hit the scrap bin for greys, blacks and whites. Quilted with a variegated thread that picks up all the colors in the focus fabric, and orange thread in the bobbin because I wanted to.
Quilted with Lorien's dragons panto. Someone will love it. Better not give it to the police until I make sure that I've passed the assignment though.
Log Cabin for Aranshi's annivesary
Aranshi's 2nd wedding anniversary is fast approaching. Two years is the "cotton" anniversary. She and her mother made this quilt together, and I think it's lovely. Quilted with the "Jacob's Other Ladder" panto. Happy anniversary to the happy couple.
"Grandma's Surprise" by Renee
Here are two quilts that Renee did. They are called "Grandma's Surprise", and they are not paper pieced. Wow. (I had to ask if they were paper pieced. The black and white had a mistake in the pattern, she contacted the author about getting it resolved. I never did find the issue. Renee dropped them off and essentially said to do what I wanted with them, she trusted me. I chose the "Dandelion" panto for this one, but I still think it should be called "Spider Web", or something like that.

Same quilt, totally different color way. Quilted with a multicolored thread, and the "Vanilla Cream" panto.

"Appliqued dogs" by Liz
Some lucky little neighbor girl of Liz is going to get this quilt. I can't believe that Liz appliqued all of these dogs, and then added the lovely embroidery details. Then she's giving it away! Quilted with the Dog Dreams panto, all the bones across the quilt top. So sweet.
"Mesa" by Trudy
Trudy is a new customer to me, and I hope that we'll get to work together again soon. First, she brings me a cool quilt like this, and then all of the points match perfectly. Something I can only dream of. Well done Trudy.
"Norther Nights" by Sharyle
This is a mystery quilt that I made at Heart to Hand. Debbie Caffery's "Northern Nights". Sharyle made it up this time in tulip fabric and fabric from the Western Washington shop hop. Sweet!
Quilted with the Wavy Raindrops panto. Perfect for a NW quilt, and the raindrops also resemble tulips.

Batiks by Kathy
Another graduation quilt, this one for a friend/relative of Kathy's. Pretty batiks throughout, and I love the thread color. Perfectly matches with the colors in the quilt top, and really pops on the black background Nice job Kathy!
