This is such an amazing quilt!  Designed by Chris who works at EE Schenk here in town.  Published in a magazine, and then pieced by JuliAnne who works at Quilter's Corner in Oak Grove.  (Great quilt shop should you get a chance to visit.)

The quilt is made with several shades of batiks which gives it the 3 dimensional look.  It was quilted exclusively with 45 degree angles following the lines of piecing.  I used my 45 degree rulers from Linda Rech, and that made the process so much easier.  Still quite time consuming.  I believe that this quilt was on the frame for the 12 days right before Christmas.  Thankfully, I had my other Christmas sewing done by then.
