Grim Reaper and Plauge Doctor by Michael

Michael is so sweet, he was concerned when he dropped these tow off that I might be "offended" by their theme.  Since these are Michael's they are of course paper pieced.  Amazing.

Vlad's Cop quilt

Vlad is a friend/manager at work.  He and his partner were in an auto accident and he now holds a spot in his heart for police officers  based on his experiences after that accident.

This is simply a whole cloth from black fabric, quilting with gold thread, then I played with my rulers.  Wondering what I could do with them.  Many designs are copied from others, a few I created on my own.

Thank you to Mary Beth for donating her leftover wool batting as that was used for the batt.  I gave this to Vlad to give to an officer of his choosing. (I can also see future whole cloth practice quilts coming)

Two Hobbit quilts by Mary Beth

Here are two different quilts for the same family.  One will be for the entire family to use, and the other is for Jane.  Sadly, I've forgotten which is which!  Since the theme of both quilts are Dragons, one is quilted with the Lorien's Dragon panto, and another is finished with "Castles in the mist"

 Hard to tell from the photo, but these are lovely batik fabrics all stitched together into a Rail Fence variation by Carla.  What a lovely gift.
