"Batik Sea Life" by Cindy

Funny how you meet new people. Cindy's son in law Jon, approached me about quilting a quilt of his, and then recommended me to Cindy. She brought me this one that she had completed before but with her own Alpaca wool batting. Sadly, this was too warm for the recipient, and Cindy took it apart.

Now it's finished again with new cotton batting and a new backing since the original wasn't large enough. The appliques are done raw edge, so quilted over them.

Michael's Druid Nutcracker

Another stunner from Michael. I love the colors in this guy! So woodsy and quilted with a panto called "natural music".

"Nightmare Before Christmas" by Michael

Michael tells me that he found this fleece and thought he bought 2 yards. He bought 4! And kindly gifted half of it to me!

Quilted with a Jack Skeleton design (of course) and no batting. Just fleece and cotton backing

Difficult to see, but the bobbin thread is bright gold so it shows more

"Keys" by Leigh

Leigh found these vintage style keys and incorporated them into her quilt top. All cotton fabrics, hand appliqued circles with embroidery to accent the keys. I used several different sizes of circle rulers for the quilting. Great fun to work on, as always

"Sewing Hands" by Ellen

This is a very simple quilt, but very effective. All cut from the same size of squares, then pieced together into squares and rectangles.

Quilted with a digital design called "Daisy Tile". The Sewing Hands title comes from the hands holding needle and thread print for the backing.

"T-Block" by Janice

Janice says that she makes quilt tops to keep herself occupied, and lucky me, I get to quilt them. This one I call "T-Blocks" for obvious reasons. Quilted with variegated thread and a paper panto called "Vanilla Cream".

"Links of Love" for Maddy and Dan

When your sweet niece finds her "Mr. Wonderful" of course you make them a wedding quilt. Maddy asked for the colors "Pink, purple and yellow", so here we are. All of the fabrics started out as white, and where hand dyed by me to match her color request. It's also king sized, so HUGE!

Because the dye doesn't absorb on the white designs of white on white prints, you get a pattern that shows through the dye. Not to mention how much fun I had dying the fabric and making the quilt!

"The Merging of Two Souls" by me for Cody

Cody is my "nephew in law", married to my niece Katie. Cody's brother got married in April 2026, and Cody asked if I would be willing to make them a quilt for him to give to them as a wedding gift. Of course the answer was an enthusiastic "Yes!" Cody and I met at the fabric store, I had a few quilt patterns with me for him to look through, and he chose a Trip Around the World pattern. Then he chose all of the fabrics representing things that are important to Cody's brother and his bride. So we have water, sailing, dogs and music to name a few. Last step was for Cody to decide what the label should say and that's where the name comes from.

"Daisies" by Janice

The last of the most recent batch of 3 from Janice. Quilted with a panto called "Splashy Coneflowers" in a pale lavender thread. Hope she likes it!

"Circles" from Leigh

Wish I could get a better photo, but the colors are pretty dark. All that wonderful hand embroidery and applique. I quilted in the ditch around each circle, then did straight lines connecting each circle.

And a partial circle evenly spaced around the borders.

"Red Hat" by Janice

I'm calling this "Red Hat" because the colors remind me of those hats. Also lots of roses in the fabrics, so I quilted it with a Rose pantograph

This is from a pattern I found in a magazine, and can't recall the designer or the magazine to give credit. Sorry about that.

This will hopefully raise a lot of money for C.O.P.S. in Tillamook in December

I'm calling this one "Green Stars" simply because that's an easy name. Quilted with a new to me panto called "Spanish Tiles"

National Parks by Ellen

Ellen made this fabulous BOM from Grandma's Attic in Dallas, OR. The cornerstones are fussy cut from the same fabric as the backing, and feature small images advertising different parks. Well done Ellen.

Christmas Tree quilt by Bernadette

Bernadette and her sister made this quilt to gift to yet another sister. Best of all, they raided the recipients fabric stash, so she can have fun playing find the memories of her fabrics. The backing, pieced by Sister #2 is made of 2.5 " strips of fabric.

"Greek Gods" by Michale

The original pattern is by Fancy Lad quilts, but Michael made a couple of additions. Adding a grey border in the shape of a pediment, then blue border beyond that.

I don't have a clue as to which God/Goddess is who, but I do love that this one has a silver lame mirror to admire herself.

3 of the 5 from Susan for her son and friends at West Point

Susan took on the task of making 5 quilts for her son, and his friends at West Point. I have no idea what I did with the photos of the other two, but they were also stunning! The top one is for her son, all paper pieced.

I don't know if this is paper pieced or not, but the curved piecing alone makes me want to cringe.

And finally, more my speed for quilting. All using the same "Simply Stars" panto, and she is madly working on binding to be able to take them with her at the end of the month.

The center is clearly a panel, and the borders added are also from the same line, but I'm not sure if it is from a different bolt, or was a part of the panel. Ready to go to a loved grandson

Picnic Quilt by Zoe

Zoe refers to this as a Picnic quilt, so that's what I shall call it as well. Lovely piecing, as always

Another photo dump of Michaels

As always, where does he find the time?! Nutcraker #1 and I think he's already got another made in a different color scheme. The quilting design mimics the background fabric design.
