"2nd Tradewinds" quilt by Betty
"Phoenix" by Michael
9 patch and stars variation from Kristin
Oh what a stunner! I've commented on this before that when I am working on a quilt, I only see a small portion at a time. Yes, it's very pretty, and I see the details. Like how beautifully pieced this is, not a point cut off. But then you hang it up and WOW! So very pretty. This is a first quilt for me from Kristin, and I've got another going to my big machine very soon. Can't wait to post it!
"It's what you do"
The name of this quilt came out of the idea that it's what you do when you find out that your friend's father has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Orange is the ribbon color for Leukemia, so that's where that choice came from. Simply half square triangles placed together in a pleasing manner.
Quilted with a simple rectangular panto.

Gerry is such a sweet lady, always making quilts for fund raisers and this is no exception. This will be a fundraiser for a no kill cat shelter, and all of the fabrics are cat themed prints.
So the quilting is a Baptist Fan design with animal paw prints in the the outer edge. So cute and I can't wait to use it again.
