This quilt was a long time in the making. Started out as a Block of the Month at the Heart to Hand quilt shop. I ended up sending it to Austria for my dear friend Ursi when she was going through some difficult personal times. The leftover corners from Ursi's quilt and what made up this quilt's blocks. I had them stuffed in a bag in the closet for "someday", and that day finally arrived! One of my many resolutions this year was to clean out the closet of the bags of "someday" projects. I'm making progress! I found an extra block from Ursi's quilt, so that became the center, and then used the extra fabrics that I had from her quilt for setting squares and borders. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, and I've got less stuff in my closet too!
